Ilhan Omar eviscerated for suggesting Trump is a pedophile — and should be executed: ‘Keep her mouth shut’
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar after the far-left politician surprisingly suggested that President Trump is a pedophile — and should be executed.
Omar (D-Minn.), a fierce critic of the president, flew into a tantrum after Trump appeared on Fox Business to discuss fraud in her home state of Minnesota, where he claimed the theft exceeded $19 billion.
“The leader of the Child Sexual Exploitation Protection Party is trying to distract from the presence of his name in all of the Epstein files.” I wrote on XAlong with a clip of the interview in which Trump also criticized her.
“At least in Somalia they execute child molesters and do not elect them.”
Comer (R-Ky.) quickly responded, saying the “Squad” member needed to “keep her mouth shut” unless she was explaining the sudden rise in her husband’s net worth.
“Of all the people who made any comment, Ilhan Omar is the only person in Congress who probably needs to keep her mouth shut,” an exasperated Comer said on NewsNation’s “Katie Pavlich Tonight” on Wednesday night.
“If she’s going to tweet anything, she should explain to the American people how her net worth went from zero to $10 million in one year, and explain why the Biden Justice Department investigated her husband’s financial activities over the course of that year, as her net worth ballooned.”
Although Trump is mentioned in the Epstein files several times, there is no credible evidence that he was involved in anything nefarious.
The president has frequently referenced Omar’s ties to Somalia in the wake of the fraud scandal that rocked Minnesota centered around the Somali population there.
“If she loves Somalia so much, she should go back to Somalia, and I can tell you what we’re investigating in Minnesota and the written depositions and interviews we’re receiving now as we speak,” Comer added.
“The amount of Somali fraud in all the different welfare programs is really bad. So Ilhan Omar really needs to keep her mouth shut.”
Comer’s jab against Omar, who immigrated to the United States from Somalia when she was 12, also pointed to her net worth. It mysteriously grew to as much as $30 millionAlthough accurate numbers are not provided in the financial disclosures to the House of Representatives.
The surge in wealth was driven by her husband, whose Rose Lake Capital rose from nearly zero in 2023 to between $5 million and $25 million, The Post previously reported.
The value of his winery business, which has been the subject of fraud accusations, has also jumped to between $1 million and $5 million in 2024.
“The Biden Justice Department was investigating her husband’s financial activities over the course of that year as her net worth ballooned,” Coomer said. “That’s a simple question. It shouldn’t take long to answer.”
