The Trump administration’s exposure of Al Gore’s climate concerns has made the world a better place

Ding dong, the climate hoax is dead.

Twenty years later Al Gore’s shocking film “An Inconvenient Truth” The Trump administration has put the final nail in the coffin of a lie that has frightened an entire generation into believing that the planet is about to explode if they continue to use fossil fuels.

In what the White House calls “the largest deregulation action in American history,” the Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday will rescind an Obama-era proclamation that imposed greenhouse gas regulations for 17 years,

The 2009 “danger finding” was the primary climate brake on US industry, providing the legal justification for increasingly punitive regulations on greenhouse gases.

White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt said this week that repealing it “would save the American people $1.3 trillion in stringent regulations,” with the EPA projecting an average saving of $2,400 per vehicle and additional savings in farm machinery, which will soon be freed from the complex additional circuits needed to restrict emissions.

It will end too Joe Biden’s forced transition to electric cars By 2030.

Yay!

It is time for common sense to return to energy policy.

During the recent bone-chilling winter storm that struck 200 million Americans in more than 35 states, it wasn’t wind and solar that kept the lights on; Fossil fuels.

Fueling American Prosperity

According to the Florida Municipal Energy Agency, 90% of the nation’s power generation at the height of the storm was natural gas, coal, nuclear or oil.

Cheap and abundant energy made America prosperous, but charlatans citing pseudoscience conspired to take us back to the Dark Ages with inflated expectations that continue to falter.

As we continue to sail past various deadlines set by climate hoaxers from Gore to Greta Thunberg, the public has been waking up to the hoax.

A 2024 Gallup poll found that only 2 percent of Americans cite climate change or the environment as their main concern.

Interestingly, environmental activists have remained relatively silent in the face of a widespread attack by Trump and his government on climate slogans last year.

Just to make sure the Greens will completely lose their minds, President Trump was crowned the “undisputed champion of coal” by the Washington Coal Club on Wednesday in an event promoted by the White House as an unabashed celebration of the fossil fuel most demonized by climate alarmists: “Clean, beautiful coal… the most reliable and affordable energy source in America.”

He joked that “any time you mention coal – COAL – it should be preceded by two words, clean and nice.”

He praised the EPA official Lee Zeldin His rapid deregulation is seen as the administration’s “secret weapon” in its fight against the “war on coal.”

“Biden and the radical left wanted to abolish coal,” Trump told the gathered group of coal miners wearing hard hats and bulletproof vests in the East Room.

“They did everything they could…but on day one of this administration I ended the war on coal. We ended the Green New Scam and withdrew from the one-sided and unfair Paris climate agreement.”

He also boasted that he had saved 74 coal-fired power plants from extinction and announced that the Tennessee Valley Authority had just taken two coal plants off the cutting board.

On the other hand, supported by falling electricity prices, the first American aluminum smelter in fifty years is now scheduled to be built in Oklahoma.

The net zero policies adopted by Europe, Canada and Australia, with their blind reliance on wind and solar power, have failed.

Add to this the huge new demand for energy from data processing centers underpinning artificial intelligence, and it becomes impossible to support the climate imagination.

Now, policymakers and powerful influencers hope they can move away from the disastrous decisions they imposed on us with false claims.

Climate activity is out

Billionaire activist Bill Gates He has abandoned the climate alarm, calmly declaring last October that climate change “will not lead to the extinction of humanity” and that “global temperature tells us nothing about people’s quality of life.”

Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Perhaps there are more pressing problems in the world that we would be worth spending money on.

On Wall Street, environmental, social and government stocks have fallen out of favor.

Public disillusionment occurs as the foundations on which the climate hoax was built crumble.

In his testimony to Congress last week, Treasury Secretary Scott Besent pointed to the “massive reversal” of Nature’s infamous paper on “The Economic Commitment to Climate Change,” which claimed the cost of global warming would reach $38 trillion annually by 2049.

It was withdrawn two months ago because, as Nature admitted, the errors were “too significant to be corrected.”

Besant declared that the rejection of influential economic models “revealed the radical left’s appalling exaggeration of climate change…

“This fatally fraught card, with errors too large to be corrected, has been repeatedly used and abused to justify poor policymaking around the world, undermining energy abundance and better living standards.”

These days, when Energy Minister Chris Wright meets his European and Australian counterparts behind closed doors, they confide to him that he “may be right about the data”, but the public still “feels” that the climate alarm is real.

As he points out, this is because they have been lied to for a quarter of a century.

The truth hurts, but it’s better than the alternative.
